MaDiTraCe – Material and digital traceability for the certification of critical raw materials

MaDiTraCe aims to reinforce the transparency, traceability, and sustainability of complex supply chains of critical raw materials including cobalt, lithium, natural graphite and rare earth elements. The project develops and integrates technological solutions for traceability and certification into a Digital Product Passport. These solutions will enable key industry players to prove the reliability of their sustainability claims, comply with current regulation and anticipate future policies.

MaDiTraCe expects to have a number of impacts on CRM supply chains, the implementation of the EU Action Plan on CRMs, and the overall mining industry, primarily improved supply chain data transparency & traceability.
