RAWCLIC aims to shape a sustainable future by addressing the important role of raw materials in Europe’s transition to a green and digital economy. By developing state-of-the-art tools and knowledge, RAWCLIC aims to develop and analyze likely future scenarios for the demand, supply, and environmental impact of raw materials, while empowering policymakers and industry to make informed decisions.
Through innovative scenario development, the RAWCLIC project examines key challenges and opportunities such as material substitution, urban and geological mining, advanced processing technologies, circular material use, and geopolitical changes affecting supply chains.
